This hook bait is salt-smoked and very attractive to the carp long before the flavours are released due to the increased levels of inflatable ingredients in the bait. This in combination with the increased osmosis and other ingredients in the bait, means that you have a more durable version of attractors that are released from the core of the bait than the standard "out of the bag" bait.

Of course, any increase in osmosis means that your bait will soften faster. After extensive testing during summer water temperatures, we now feel that we have found the right balance for the hardness of the hookbait. We recommend using these hookbaits for 12-18 hours during the summer months. During winter and spring you can leave this bait undisturbed for 48 hours.
